Pamela Rudge

Pamela Rudge studied at the Royal College of Music and now combines the post of Head of Music & Singing at Bristol  Old Vic Theatre School with a busy singing life. Pamela specialises in oratorio, concert and recital work performing in this country and abroad and having a wide repertoire from early music to contemporary composers. This season she will be performing works that include Rossini's "Petite Messe Solonelle", Mozart's "Requiem" and various "Messiah"s.  She is equally at home on the operatic stage, last year playing the part of Miss Baggott in Britten's "The Little Sweep" at St. George's, Brandon Hill, Bristol. She will be creating the role of Mabel in the premiere of Eric Wetherell's new opera "The Snow Child" at the Redgrave Theatre in September. Pamela has worked as a soloist on radio and television and is much in demand for running vocal workshops and singing courses, this year in Cyprus, London, Banbury, Warwick, Cornwall and Bristol. Pamela has conducted numerous musical theatre shows, orchestral and classical concerts. She has been musical director for many shows, and is currently looking forward to musically directing "London Road", a Bristol Old Vic Theatre School production at Bristol Old Vic in June.
